Alex Shampoe was the winner of the Brunjes Trophy in 2018 as the top U.S. endurance rider in the junior or young rider ranks. The following year, she was a member of the U.S. Endurance Team at the 2019 FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Riders & Juniors in Italy with Dude Free Gold. In 2021, she competed at the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Riders & Juniors in Ermelo, Netherlands, with Promissin Gold, where they finished 14th individually and helped the U.S. to a fifth-place team finish.
